Let Me Introduce Myself…

Who I Am…

Hola! My name is Ashley and I currently live in Texas with my three kitties, Jack , Alien, and recently added lil Uno. I also have a daughter named Gracie who just turned 20 and graduated high school from homeschooling and is pursuing a career in the pharmacy tech world. It feels crazy every time I think about my daughter being a whole adult human, well, as much as one can be at the opportune age of 20! I have been a single mom basically my entire adult life who has done some pretty cool things (solo vacays and travel nursing) while enjoying the small moments along the way.

I’m natural born redhead who has the personality to match! I have a huge heart but there’s plenty of sass (and cuss words if I’m being honest) to compliment it nicely! I wanted to create this page to share my support and knowledge for anyone needing some encouragement and guidance along their life path, more specifically women. I have a huge love for all things women’s health, travel, rescue animals on every level of all kinds, food, and my ultimate goal of living off grid on a fully functioning homestead.

What I Can Help You With…

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for well over a decade now, and while I love being a labor & delivery nurse, my viewpoint on healthcare as a whole has drastically changed over the years. I still want to support, educate, advocate, and coach women in their journeys but just from a different aspect outside of the hospital realm. This also includes helping new grads navigate the healthcare field, experienced nurses looking for a change in their career, or the wild ones at heart looking to jump into travel nursing.

“All things Nursing”

I’ve experienced so many aspects of nursing from working in pediatrics to NICU to labor and delivery and even in administration. I love the excitement and teaching the of new grads entering the career field, or even experienced nurses who aspire to enter the women and children‘s area of nursing. I know that sometimes it’s difficult field to get into, but you always knew you wanted to be in that area. Transition into one of the specialty areas in women and children’s can sometimes be overwhelming and terrifying, I can help ease that anxiety and give realistic expectations and tools. Maybe you’re just curious about the travel nursing world and wanting info and tips on that. Have someone with experience in it give you a real-life view and expectations of what all it really entails. Let me help guide and support you in your career! Click here!

Alien

Named by my daughter from when he was a baby kitten, lil orange barn cat werescued and the only one to live from the litter of 5 from the flood and cold. He’s scared of anything that moves too fast but loves to snuggle.

Jack Jack

One Eyed Jack, the rotten ass Ragdoll, he’s definitely the mischevious one. He had an URI as a kitten which lead to a nonfunctioning eye after sooooo many attempts to heal his poor eye. He loves to play fetch and will stay attached to your leg at ALL times.

Gracie

My beautiful daughter, a true Leo through and through. She has the biggest heart and magnetic personality, and loves to help anyone in need, especially the senior community. I cannot wait to see what she accomplishes in the future!
